3 of the Many Things I Really Like

This web site brings together three things I like.  I get to study, use, and teach the latest Apple devices, delve into the study of our universe, and create the financial resources to develop a web site that assembles the best factual information on America's important issues.  I hope that this will become a source of accurate knowledge for the America people.

1 Computers and Gadgets

I confess, I am a gadget guy.  I would like to live in a log cabin in the woods, but can I take my gizmos with me?  Now more than ever before, I am researching more things, because I can.  Before the internet, I had only the encyclopedia and going to the library.  With my iPad and iPhone, I can get instant gratification of the information I wish to study, wherever I am.  I am in the internet exploring all day long.  Anything that strikes my fancy gets a look:

I am learning more new things now than at any time in my life, and I imagine you are too.

2 Studying Our Universe

I never took an Astronomy or Physics class in college.  But after I went to a conference where Dr. Posen spoke, I was hooked on both.  Dr. Posen worked with Einstein on the splitting of the atom and spoke of the truly interesting facts about the universe.  From then on I was fascinated.  But it was not until the Hubble Space Telescope that many exciting new discoveries were revealed in pictures.  The two Mars rovers (Video - PRESS the icon in lower right to watch in full screen mode) revealed fabulous pictures of another planet in a way never before seen.

3 How to Reform our Political System With Knowledge

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives.”

August 4th, 1822 President James Madison

Take a look at www.StrikingTheTruth.com.  Just click it and help create one place that assembles the most diligent research on all the important issues facing America, presenting honest, unbiased facts.  After watching our government not function and our society divided, I realized that the source of the problem is not differences of opinion, but manufactured facts and half truths.  The basis of our political institutions and our society must be accurate information.  Without truthful information to guide us, we are lost, a society driven by special interests, not a society of the people, by the people, and for the people as Lincoln hoped.  Please support Striking The Truth by becoming Member.  We can fashion our society based on accurate knowledge.  We live in the "age of information;" now it is time to live in the "age of accurate information."

Everyone's is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts.”

U.S Senator Daniel Moynihan
